I tried that on my Talon AWD running a big 16G back in the day. I was too cheap to get injectors so I hooked up a Paxton adj. reg. Totally fawked things up! The car would run too rich at idle, too lean at WOT cuz it was a static pressure (i.e. didn't curve with throttle). Also it made the car stall constantly. Save up until you can get the injectors and do it right.
